Sensory Stimulation
There are 4 of each shape with 4 different variations - a plain colour as well as 3 different sensory materials - Beads, Water+Glitter and Sand, each encased within strong high-grade acrylic.
Your child can safely observe the materials moving around. When doing this in different settings such as different rooms indoors or outdoors allows for a variety of colours to be seen through the frames. This combined with the sounds each material makes as it moves heightens the experience and stimulates different areas of the brain.
Understand Sequencing and Cause & Effect
The blocks are robust and strong and can be stacked in a multitude of ways.
Also organising the shapes according to colour, or asking the child to stack multiple colours in a specific order, helps them to understand sequencing.
The blocks can also be stacked upward, children enjoy building and crashing down towers - this develops an understanding of cause and effect.
Explore Colours and Shapes
Encourage early learners to explore colours by viewing different objects and scenes through the lenses. Children love seeing the different objects awash with the different colours and materials, imagining that they now live on ‘Planet Red’ when looking through the red lens or that they are under the Sea when looking through the blue lens.
